Tina Traboulsi is a San Francisco & Vancouver-based actress, singer, and creative experimentalist. Most recently, she starred in the TV series “Smash Hit Video” and has also performed in various live productions across Vancouver and SF Bay Area. In September of 2019, she received awards for her performances at the Vancouver Academy of Dramatic Arts showcase, including the first-place winner for a scene and the third-place winner for a monologue. She was also a Vocal Finalist for Musical Theatre for the Redwood Empire NATS 2019 competition.
Relevant Training
Prior to living in Vancouver, Tina majored in Music and English at Santa Clara University. There, she was able to meld her passion for performance with her interest in writing to produce her first short play. While studying at the Vancouver Academy of Dramatic Arts and the Improv Comedy Institute at Vancouver Theatre Sports, Tina flourished in classes that required quick-thinking and experimentation. She found particular success with accent work and comedy. Her unique, quirky, and humorous characterization led to her wins at the school’s subsequent showcase.
Personal Information
Tina continues to perform in productions in both Vancouver and California. As a dual citizen of Canada and the United States, she is excited to pursue work opportunities on both sides of the border.
With a strong foundation in musical theater as well as intensive training for the screen, Tina is well-versed in each nuanced realm of performance. She is ultimately driven by a desire to keep learning; when she is not working, you can find her taking classes, teaching beginning contemporary musical theatre, or hosting table reads.
